Atheist activism, philanthropy, education, and community

KCAC is doing a special fundraiser for The Mattie Rhodes Center, a charity organization dedicated to the well-being and development of children and families in need. This group was on its way with a graffiti abatement program, changing local walls of graffiti into murals painted by the children they seek to help—until, that is, someone broke into their garage and stole $800 in art supplies from the organization.

KCAC seeks to not only to help its community of nonbelievers but also the community at large. To that end, we would like to ask you in helping us raise funds to help this community organization recover the costs of replacing these art supplies. The donations are entirely voluntary, but we recommend a $10. With your help, we can not only continue to help improve the lives of children and families in the Kansas City community, but continue to demonstrate how, without any need of a god, atheists can be a source of support when our communities are in need.
